Random Hawaiin Adventures
Went 'surfing' with Char today, which meant that I paddled a lot until I got seasick and caught about 1 wave, but fun nonetheless. Have had some great poolside bbqs with various people from C's work and paddle team, tonight we were in a place with a gorgeous view of the mountains with tons of lush tropical stuff close by. It's great here, except I just watched a giant cockroach sail around the kitchen. Ick. Tropical bugs.
Other adventures we had were playing on the north shore beaches, going to a cool Hawaiian monument and seeing mongooses, ripping a giant hole in the van tire on a bridge (oops!) and beachbeachbeach. Not too shabby.
